Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Level 3 Technician

This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional capable of independently handling complex commercial HVAC and refrigeration service calls, troubleshooting advanced system issues, and mentoring junior technicians.
Job Type & Schedule
- Monday-Friday 8 AM – 5PM
- Flexibility for on-call and finish expected
- 40-60 hrs/week
Compensation
$28-38 per hour
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including rack refrigeration, chillers, VRF/VRV systems, and supermarket systems
- Mentor and train junior technicians to enhance team capability
- Execute preventative maintenance and system optimizations for efficiency and reliability
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to ensure proper installation and servicing
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication regarding repairs and recommendations
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC and refrigeration service
- Advanced knowledge of commercial refrigeration, supermarket systems, and HVAC troubleshooting
- EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)
- Strong understanding of electrical, controls, and mechanical system diagnostics
- Ability to work independently and provide guidance to less experienced technicians
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
