Today, we’ll show you how to properly wash the outdoor air conditioning condenser.
First, you want to make sure there is no power running to your unit. Here, in essence, make sure your breaker to the air conditioner is turned off. We all want to check for the debris on the inside. We got some debris in here. I’ll go ahead and pull off the top.
So, here we just have some condenser foil cleaner – Triple D. I’m gonna spray that on the outside of the coil.
All right. Then, we’re gonna spray the water from the inside out.
When you’re in here, also you’re gonna get all the small debris we couldn’t get with the vacuum on the bottom.
High-voltage and low-voltage wires, we have the power off right now, but we’re just looking for rubbed-out wires. These all seem to be in good condition. A lot of times, you’ll see these low-voltage wires here end up rubbing out up against the copper right in this area here, but everything looks good on this one.
We’ll go ahead and put the top back on and give it one final rinse down, spray off with that. There were go.
